DSGN BY D. is a New York design collective that writes about typography and design education and makes objects built entirely from type. No illustration. No borrowed imagery. We do it because we want to.

It was founded by C.J. Yeh and Christie Shin, both tenured professors at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The D. stands for designers. Not brands, not committees, not category strategy. Designers. The platform is built to hold more of us than it currently does.
